It doesn't stay solid in third person, it appears and disappears incredibly fast instead.
If you fire while spooled up, sometimes, the muzzleflash stays there and spinning for about a second. This is kiiiinda Valve's fault, and there's nothing I can do about it. This happens with the firing animation itself in third person, and because the muzzleflash relies on the third person firing animation.
Oh, and by the way, this was made by adding a muzzleflash model bodygroup added to all of the miniguns, and scripted to appear during the Heavy's fire_loop anim.
