The Frontiersman's Rifle

When Clark and Lewis set off into the wild frontier, they brought their shotguns with them, right? No, they brought rifles. When you see a Texan man with his gun, what is he usually holding? A shotgun? No, a rifle. When you think of an old western lawman, armed for battle, he's holding a pistol in one hand, and what in the other? I think you see where I'm going with this. So why should our good ol' Texan frontiersman, the engineer, go into battle without one?

Basically, this is what happens when my weapon-related OCD kicks in while I'm tired of trying to UV map something. I never liked how the Frontier Justice had a longer tube than the shotgun, but held less shots.

So I shortened the tube, moved the pump (it wasn't held properly before, I fixed that to), then lengthened the barrel and turned that whatever-the-hell-it-is on the side into an actual scope.

Oh, and this will work with your custom textures. The only caveat is that the scope will look less scope-ish.

Fun fact: Did you know that the engineer's left index finger twitches when he holds a shotgun? Just learned that today.
