So yeah. I modeled a car. The scaling seems too big, but it's really more a case of the player view height being weird. I scaled it against a decompiled player model and it looked fine. Scaling looks good from the inside. Textures aren't incredible by any means. I'm just going to admit that I lack any of the skills necessary to do this project, but I did it anyways. I say it's good enough. Includes moving steering wheel and reanimated speedometer.
So breathe in the fresh air and enjoy the old car smell.
Facts:
- My only reference for this entire vehicle was a picture of an AMC Ambassador and I only used it for an idea on one section.
- Total polycount with all four wheels is 7726.
- Total triangles for just the car is 4853. ("zomg I could do it in under 1000 you n00b!!1lol")
- There's no rear view mirror because it would have just been annoying.
- There's no lights other than headlights because it's the future and you don't need them.
- The default texture mapping is likely to be very horrible.
- You might have been conceived in car not so dissimilar from this.
- Billy Joel is the greatest musician of all time.
