It's not [i]too[/i] typical - I mean, it's not just desaturated. The author seemed to have an idea of what they wanted to do. But, this really doesn't cut it, I'm afraid. My advice to the author, is to find some skinning tutorials, learn how to use your programs better (and by "programs", I mean anything that's not made by Microsoft - preferably Photoshop or GIMP), and learn how to skin textures. Refine your abilities, learn how to make higher-quality skins, and then begin releasing.
