On a higher note, everything seems to be outlined relatively carefully, and no texture just has a layer of color overlaid on top, which I find quite promising. As for suggestions, I'd look beyond just recoloring a model as randomly as possible. Go for a theme, or have a particular product in mind when you're looking to make a skin.
