Vard'ight

about Vard'ight is known mostly through legend. He is an immortal being, confined to this world for all of eternity. Legend says that in life he was a ruthless murderer who killed hundreds of innocent people. When he was brought to justice, he was unanimously sentenced to death. It is said that after his excecution, his soul was brought to a powerful entity known as Riemius. Riemius offered a deal to Vard'ight - serve him for the rest of time, and in return he would recieve new life and immortality and the chance to take revenge upon those who had served "justice" on him. Vard'ight accepted Riemius's offer, without knowing the consequence of his decision. Riemius granted him eternal life, but not enternal youth. He was cursed to walk this world in a continually decaying body, doing Riemius's bidding until the end of time. No one knows how long Vard'ight has lived, but the signs of his great age are obvious. His arms and legs are wrapped in blood-soaked bandages, and are dangling from his body by chains in a ghostly fashion. The flesh and bones of his torso are completely exposed, with the exception of some bloody chains and armor covering it. His face has completely rotted off, leaving only a bare skull in the front, and the rest of his head is layers of exposed flesh. He is a horrific site.
