if it was a clan with a two-letter acronym they could sport their whole clan tag at a time - one in each hand, or a dual with both letters. I guess KotF will need partners to do the same ;). The sabers themselves are nice-looking - different than normal hilts in that they are more of a white color than a metal shade, making them seem almost like they are made of ivory. However the blade is really a product of shaders - the skin underneath is not impressive. It is basically a cylindrical hilt, with decent shading, then right around it, which are textured in a random liquid metallic pattern which makes no attempt to follow any UV map set forth - it is just dropped on top indescrimininantly. The same goes for the top gold portion. So the case is here, as it is unfortunately many other places, a good shader covering up a sloppy texture. So in the future I would suggest taking as much time on the skin as on the model. Letting a shader cover up poor skinning work may be a short-term fix, but if you don\'t learn the art you won\'t go much farther with modelling. Trust me - it\'s a handy thing to pick up. ~Inyri
Good hilts are hard to come by, but hilts that attempt to mimic letters of the alphabet are even rarer. And indeed these blades do that - they spell out the clan\'s acryonym: K - O - T - F. See now
