Sonic Screwdriver

Correct me if I'm wrong, please. My first thought was that it's a little stubby, especially in the upper area. The texture also looks photosourced from an image, and as such doesn't quite fit the model perfectly. For a first model, however, it's not bad at all. It's not flat, opaque colors, and the model itself was made using an efficient amount of polygons. In fact, the author could probably afford to start with an eight sided cylinder instead of a six-sided cylinder, which I believe is what Virtue's tutorial recommends. I find that JA can handle a little bit more than that, though. Especially with a hilt as simple as this. Overall a very interesting saber, a good start in the modeling community, and a sure-fire hit for Dr. Who fans. ~Inyri
From my extensive Dr. Who research, since I've never seen the show, I have decided that this model is meant to represent the redesigned Sonic Screwdriver from the 2005 version of the show Dr. Who.
