typical sword - diamond-shaped broad blade that thins out at the end, leather/snake skin hilt, snakeskin pommel... Like I said above, the modelling work is basic, but the texturing work is downright primitive. As far as I can tell - (I sense hypocrisy coming on again) - textures have just been pasted over the uvw maps with no consideration for the actual alignment. The texture choices themselves are pretty poor - you\'d never see a sword with a hilt made out of what can only be described as a plaster compound material. The specific textures used for the hilt and pommel just don\'t work. At all. The metal used on the blade - if it even is a metal - is nothing like steel. The shading on the sword is also kinda dodgy, and for once I can actually say that a file looked better in ModView than it did in the actual game. As stated previously, it\'s not a *bad* model - it just carries all the hallmarks of a newer modeller, as well as all the mistakes. Still, there\'ve been far worse sword models submitted here, so if this one is to your taste, give it a download. ~ Kouen
