although it's still slightly more detailed than it needs to be. Acceptably so, though. This new version includes some extra goodies for you. Not only does it include the basic hilt, which is far snazzier looking than the original, but it also includes a staff version of the hilt as well as some cool new moves (just some swapping of animations for some basic actions like rolling). Now I'm not sure exactly how this hilt is realistically usable -- I can't figure out for the life of me how an actual person would be able to handle that thing without it being incredibly awkward or, at the extreme, fumbling the whole hilt in the middle of the duel! Luckily Jedi Academy isn't really concerned with [i]realism[/i] so the side effect is only that the hilt kind of clips right through the model's hands. I personally don't like this, but I'm sure it won't bother some of you. The blade hovering slightly above the emitters did bother [i]me[/i] a little, and since that's easily corrected it probably should've been fixed before release. Overall definitely a good improvement and a cool-looking new hilt to add to your collection. The additional animation changes are included in a separate PK3, so if you don't want them you can choose not to install them. So if that was keeping you from downloading this hilt, don't let it! ~Inyri
