The Legend of KungLao Ch.7

Because there\'s no legitimate dialogue it\'s still very hard to follow; taking some extra time and finding some voice actors would really pay off in this department. This incarnation of the video suffers from almost all the same things as chapter 6 (which is a bit disheartening, since it means the suggestions went unheeded). It\'s full of almost all still shots, which does the video a huge disservice during what might otherwise have been a neat combat scene. The choreography is sketchy, leaving huge pauses in the battle (where I would have expected Kung Lao to stab the mob guy about 6 times, but instead he sits there and waits to get the snot beat out of him -- unrealistic, don\'t you think?). The biggest WTF moment in this whole video comes in a scene where Kung Lao is kicked out a highrise window. WTF?! Is that an atari sound effect? Talk about out of place. Kung Lao flies about 6 feet or so past the window ledge, yet still manages to grab it a few stories down. I think we\'ve broken the laws of physics here. Overall I\'d say the video is slow, has too much downtime, not enough dialogue, and the camera work makes what might otherwise be interesting content dull and hard to follow. Certain scenes are obviously meant to mimic the Matrix, but without the camera work to back it up they fall a little flat. The several people I had give it a test watch-through also agreed on most of these points. Oh yes, and once again, thrusting attacks do [i]not[/i] sever people at the waist. Please... Let\'s attempt [i]some[/i] reality here. ~Inyri
Kung Lao chapter 7 furthers the story, basically starting off where chapter 6 ended. In this episode our hero gets to fight Mr. Mob Boss (whose role in this whole thing I still don\'t understand).
