Duel of the Fates

remember previously seeing a very good demo of the epic duel between Qui-gon and Obi-wan and Darth Maul, but this one definitely blows that one out of the water. This film not only has a good subject (come on, everyone loves this duel!) but the filming is impeccable. It's also choreographed quite well, given the restrictions of the game. The author has set this up to use every feasible aspect of the engine to portray what he needed to, and I can't think of anything that was left out, from Darth Maul tapping the forcefield with his saber to poor Qui-gon actually getting impaled correctly, which is not something I remember seeing in any previous recreations of this fight. This video takes about 5 minutes to run through, and is complete with accurate portrayal of the events, sound effects, and the appropriate music. Definitely not one to pass up, especially if you're a fan of this particular duel (as I am). Download the highest quality your internet connection will allow!
