Slip Arena 2

getting kind of tiring reviewing maps which are basically, boxes. There's only so much you can write about a square box, which had repeating and missing textures. Alright, maybe that was a bit harsh, but it's true. This map is a box map, which consists of three rooms. The first is huge, and has a repeating texture everywhere, with a giant statue in the middle. The author did clip it, which was good, but he used the clip shader as opposed to 'physics_clip.' That means that although you can't [b]walk[/b] through it, you can [b]shoot[/b] through it! ;) Oh, and as suggested by the name, the floor is slippy. One big mass of (repetitive) slippery ice. Isn't that great? The music (some rock band modern-type stuff) didn’t fit either. The other two rooms are perhaps (dare I say it) worse. Actually, that's not altogether true. One of them is worse, one is a smidgen better. The pool room has a box for a pool, with the ugly default raven water in it. There's also a second pool in this room. Because it was once of those missing texture pools (You know, the grey and white squares of death) I didn't realise it was actually....a pool of lava. Yes folks, a pool of lava! In a swimming pool room, next to an Ice rink. *shrug* Oh, and the doors need a 'wait' key to prevent them opening and closing too quickly. The final room was a little bedroom, with a TV showing an upside down image of a little garden. The TV looked alright, as did the VCR underneath it, but that's about the only thing. Oh wait! No, there is a really positive thing about this map. (I am actually being sincere this time.) It has bot support. Way to go! :D New Sounds: Yes New Textures: Yes Bot Support: Yes ~Szico VII~
