The Night's edge is the strongest pre-hard-mode sword, its strength matched probably only by the Star cannon and can be crafted by an unholy forging of 4 swords that represent the world, Corruption's Light's bane, Jungle's Blade of grass, Dungeon's Muramasa and Hell's Fiery greatsword. The Cobalt shield is an accessory that nullifies knockback and gives one defense.
The crossing of the styles was somewhat interesting to work with, from a sprite to a cartoon, but you'd be surprised how easily it can be done with some demonic details on the sword with the glowy bits; the shield was slightly harder since it's literally just a stark blue shield with a gold cross on it; so I had to take some creative liberties with it to not make it look like a toy, I'd say it doesn't look great, but it's true and it's not plastic, so take that for what it's worth.
Don't mind the clipping though, a sacrifice one must make to have this magnificent sword in the game.
