The Purity Fix

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AN ALL THAT IS PURE, READ THIS FIRST! AND I MEAN ALL OF IT!

Okay, listen up. This is NOT a skin, but a fix that allows any modder to skin the Purity Fist and does nothing stand alone. The Purity Fist's hand uses the Heavy’s ammo bandolier as the texture for the fingers, making it difficult for someone to skin it and make it look good/have one heavy skin and still have a skinned PF.

This model change fixes that. The Deus Ex hand body group has been changed to use a separate Heavy texture that you can edit at your leisure. You will not be able to use the TF2 Texture improvement pack. All custom skins should work with this, just not custom models.

The preview indicates that I used HawkShadow’s Gold Purity Fist from his Small Golden Heavy Pack to test this mod (And so show right off the bat its changes). When his pack was first released it lacked gold fingers, the only way was to skin the Heavy’s bandolier (SEE COMPAISON PICTURE IN IMAGES) which looked silly. I then told Hawk I would fix this issue, now two months later I have the fix ready to go. I did not include his skin in this submission, go check out his original submission for the updated gold fist.

• Includes separate texture “Heavy_Dex” VMT & VTF for the hand

In order to skin the fingers of the PF, you need to edit the Heavy’s bandolier texture in ”Heavy_Dex”, and you also need to color the black empty areas near it. The finger nails and tips of the fingers for some odd reason are mapped here. Not 100% sure where but they are in that black space.

One last thing, this is NOT packed into a VPK, but contains all the loose files. Why? I stated before, this isn’t a skin, but a fix for you guys to do the skinning.
