The DJ Deflectors V2

Gentlemen, BEHOLD! I bring you fine folks of GameBanana today a revisit of my first custom model, The DJ Deflectors.

GENERAL

It’s been about 2 years now since I first though up doing this idea. Back in the summer of 2011 was when I first got the idea. After trying to see it through by making it in blender, I failed pretty hard. I then moved it from a custom model to just a reskin of the Summer Shades. I did complete the reskin of the shades, but I never released them. Several months down the line I finally muscled up and tried again to make the original idea of a custom model. My success resulted in the creation of the first Deflectors, and its name was taken from the summer shades reskin I never released. However, being my first custom model, it had a handful of problems which I meant to address within the following days. Yeah, that never happened. Now I have finally returned to fix my mistakes and add what I should have in the first place.

NOTES

• Completely new, built from Scratch (Heh, puns) model
• It’s all class now!
• Fixed broken as hell rendering on back of glasses and on sides
• Fixed Phong brightness making the thing glossy and shiny as hell
• Did I mention its all class?
• Improved texture
• Replaces the Summer Shades and Professor Speks
• Packed in VPK format
• Reflects all Unusual effects*

Also, a note to everyone viewing this. Please do not hex any of my mods and release them on the Gmod workshop, I’ve already had a hand full of them removed. I will not allow my mods to be uploaded anywhere else. Nor will I ever give permission to.
