HOW TO USE ON ANY SERVER:

  • Every time you load the game, go into console and type "map itemtest". Let it load, and then leave immediately. Congratulations! The animations now work on any server you'll join, as long as you don't close the game. Video if you're confused

This is a cosmetic skin that replaces the Soldier's first person animations with new ones I made. This in no way gives you any disadvantages or advantages. This was made to be used with viewmodel fov 54 or 70, depending on which VPK you install. 
The 54 fov VPK features the origins far away from the screen, while the 70 fov VPK features the origins close to the screen, to keep consistency between between the two fovs. You can use whatever one you want with whatever fov, so if you like your origins really close to the screen, you can use the 70 FOV VPK with 54 actual fov in-game.

Not working? Chances are, your other skins overwriting this one.
Try renaming 'Medic FP Animation Overhaul.VPK' to '0A Medic FP Animation Overhaul.VPK'.
Basically, you're adding a 0A in front of the rest of the VPK's name to make it read first by the game, overwriting any potential interfering skins.

Known bugs:

  • The transitions between animations aren't perfect, but as they're as perfect as I could make them.
  • The Bonesaw swing animations may cut to another swing animation while you're already swinging. I don't know when or why this happens, or if I'm alone.
  • The Medic's arms in the bonesaw animations may slightly cut off in 70 fov.
