Corn's Scarred Tank v1.2

I didn't care for the Tank in L4D2. He looked too pink and soft. While other mods do make him look a lot different, they modify him far too much for my tastes.

This skin is for people who want a good looking Tank, but want to keep the same basic look of the old one.

Main files and .vpk file are both included.

Update:

v1.2 - Made the skin tone less "vibrant" and lowered the contrast a tad. Also added a slight amount of shine to the Tank's skin. Oh, and the normal map is now about 1/4 of the original size.

Instructions:

Extract the file to your main L4D2 folder, usually found at

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\

Now open "Pak01_dir.vpk" with Notepad++ and change the line

$baseTexture "models\infected\hulk\tank_color"

to

$baseTexture "models\infected\hulk\cank_color"

AND

$bumpmap "models\infected\hulk\tank_Normal"

to

$bumpmap "models\infected\hulk\cank_Normal"

VPK Instructions:

Add the .vpk to your addons folder located at

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons

Activate it and enjoy :D
