This release is setup differently than normal, in a way similar to CS:S stuff. There's a VPK containing all the required things, one VPK each for the five different skins (use one at a time) and one for the sounds.
IMPORTANT
This release includes a particles addon. If you don't want to see the particles, remove particles.vpk. The only downside is when you shoot this weapon, one or two error messages will appear in your console.

Use an extraction utility (such as WinZip, WinRAR or 7Zip) to open the archive. Now find your Program Files folder. For 32-bit Windows users, it should by default be "C:/Program Files" and for 64-bit users it should be, "C:/Program Files (x86)". Once there, locate the Steam folder, then go to steamapps/common/left 4 dead 2/left4dead2/addons. First, open the "1 Required" folder and drop the VPK into your addons directory.
