Corn's Desert Eagle

The original Desert Eagle looked like it was made out of a mirror. It truly was the reason I didn't use it as often as a melee weapon.

Basically, I reduced the reflectiveness significantly and added a bit of a brushed steel effect to the gun. I also added a little grip effect.

Instructions:

Extract the file to your main L4D2 folder, usually found at

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\

Now open "Pak01_dir.vpk" with Notepad++ and change the line

$baseTexture "models\v_models\Weapons\DesertEagle/Deserteagle"

to

$baseTexture "models\v_models\Weapons\DesertEagle/aeserteagle"

VPK Instructions:

Add the .vpk to your addons folder located at

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons

Activate it and enjoy :D
