RELEASE NOTES

This is a retextured SCAR with custom phong. Obviously the SCAR is now black, but on top of that I have added a much more detailed clip, as well as an aged look across the whole gun. I figured if the survivors were randomly finding guns in the street, they should be some what worn and used (excluding the gunshop)

Huge props to ST Grant who gave solid feedback throughout this project.

INSTALL

Place the VPK into your Addons Folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\addons"

As of 12/30/09 the VPK method is disabled in Realism Mode... Not sure why Valve did this, so if you want to play Realism with this skin, follow the instructions below.

1. Navigate to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2"
2. Overwrite the "materials" folder in your "left4dead2" folder.
3. Open pak01_dir.vpk with notepad++ and change the following line,

$baseTexture "models\v_models\Weapons\rifle/rifle_B"
