Installation

Place all files in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\materials\models\v_models\weapons\rifle

If you don't have any of those folders, make them. The folder "RIFLE" should contain 3 files, ak478, ak478_exp and ak47

1.Look for "whitelist.cfg" in Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead 2\left4dead2\ backup it first, then open and add(with quotes) "add" "materials/models/..." under the line // Additional files/directories to allow.

3.Then look for pak01_dir.vpk in the same folder, make sure to back it up then open it with Notepad++.

DO NOT USE WINDOWS NOTEPAD, USE NOTEPAD++(google it and download it)

4.When you opened up pak01_dir.vpk with Notepad++, press Ctrl+F and search "models\v_models\weapons\rifle\ak47"

Replace "ak47" with "ak478", then save it.

It should look like "models\v_models\weapons\rifle\ak478"

Then search for "models\v_models\weapons\rifle\ak47_exp"

Replace "ak47_exp" with "ak478_exp"
