Black Matte Uzi

This is my 3rd skin, haven't been skinning very long.

It's pretty basic. I basically just made the uzi look sleeker, and darker.

World view included, please give feedback.

There is one that is fully black,

and another which has a silver magazine and a silver barrel.

you can choose between either both folders are there.

Installation:

BACKUP ANY FILES YOU TAMPER WITH

Place all files of either uzi in C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\materials\models\v_models\weapons\smg

If you don't have any of those folders, MAKE THEM. The folder SMG should just contain 2 files, uzi4.vtf, and uzi_world.vmt

1.Look for "whitelist.cfg" in Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\ backup it first, then open and add(with quotes) "add" "materials/models/..." under the line // Additional files/directories to allow.

3.Then look for pak01_dir.vpk in the same folder, make sure to back it up then open it with Notepad++.

DO NOT USE WINDOWS NOTEPAD, USE NOTEPAD++(google it and download it)

4.When you opened up pak01_dir.vpk with Notepad++, press Ctrl+F and search "models\v_models\Weapons\smg/uzi"

Replace "uzi" with "uzi4", then save it.

It should look like "models\v_models\Weapons\smg/uzi4"

You now installed your skin!
