First off thanks to Samm5506 for supplying me with the template and bumpmap to create this skin.

Instructions are in the zip.

To fix the missing skins after installing, use the Gibbed Extractor tool to extract pak01_dir.vpk to the Desktop. Then take the "materials/models" folder from the desktop and copy it over the "materials/models" folder in your left4dead folder.
