DEFAULT:
The new, revised uniform for the Combine Military. Regular soldiers sport a sturdier, Black
Ballistic vest with improved helmet optics and a light Digital Camo pattern in Dark Blue. Outland
troops (Shotgunners) have been issued A "Light Forest Green" uniform with distinctive Blue Pads and an extra
thermal vision mode for wilderness night ops.
EP1 VARIANT:
The uniform of the standard soldier shows a week's worth of wear and tear. Grunge, dirt, Alien & Human
Blood cover the uniform. Due to the late deployment of outland troops to help quell the uprising, the
Shotgunner troops aren't as dirty as their City 17 counterparts.
EP2 VARIANT:
The destruction of City 17 blew a cloud of dirt & Ashfall over the entire region, and as a result, all
Combine soldiers are covered in a thick layer of dust, with heavy mud on the trousers & boots from extended
hiking into the surrounding mountains.
BONUS ZOMBINE HEADCRAB:
A unique sub-type of headcrab encountered during the City 17 uprising. It sports a thicker hide, an increase
in stamina and a more dangerous claw attack. Many speculate that this headcrab's new abilities are due to the
various combat stims & enhancements that Overwatch Soldiers are pumped with, which the headcrab subsequently ingests
while feeding.
NEW SOUNDS:
Previously released sounds for the Zombine & Combine Soldier that have been added to enhance this pack.
FEATURES:
-Tweaked the death sounds. The Combine soldiers now have the same flatline sound as the metrocops, followed by the soldier's Radio chirp.
This way it seems as if all of the Combine forces are hooked into the same life monitoring network.
-Tweaked footstep sounds. Now when the Combine soldier runs it sounds like he's heavier and is carrying more weight.
The script file has been edited so when he runs it only uses those running sounds, rather than two or three and then switching to the footsteps on tile sounds.
That always annoyed me.
-Slightly tweaked the NPC script to accommodate additional sounds.
Zombine Sound Features:
-Alternate sounds for the Zombine to sound more evil & deranged.
