Mr. So's Universal Union Combine

This skin was a request by someone. They wanted something that would have that "tactical" look. They also wanted it to include the leak/beta symbol that is seen on the back of the combine. I could not find a good enough image to use, so I made the symbol from scratch, so it may not look as perfect as it should.

Also, I am sorry if it does not show up as a perfect circliar symbol, but that is because when the skin is applied to the combine's model, it gets scretched and a little deformed. However, the errors are not so noticable unless you pay overly close attention to the symbol.

This download includes a Elite Skin, a Soldier skin, a shotgunner skin, a prisonguard skin, as well as a prisonguard shotgunner skin.

Also, since my last upload, I altered the VMT files. The skins are no longer so shinny or "wet" looking. You can still see the shadows caused by the folds in the armor/clothing, but it does not seem as they just emerged from water now.

Instal steps: Step 1: Select which combine soldier you want the skin to apply too, and go into that file. Step 2: You should see a "materails" file. Select the materails file and put that into your steam/steamapps/username/half life 2/hl2

For episodes: Drop the materials file into your steam/steamapps/username/half life 2 episode 1 (or 2)/episodic

EDIT:Alright, I've made some changes to the files. I fixed the "materials" files, so now when you put them into your dierectory, they should go to the right place.

Also, I took away the "requiered" file, so all you have to do now is just choose what combine you want to be reskined.

Along with taking away the "requiered" file, I combine the prisonguard skin with the prisonguard shotgunner skin, because the way valve set the VMT files up, you need to have one to use the other. Its complicated to explain.

The bottom line is: You should now be able to download this and install it withour problems if you follow the steps I provided.
