NOTES:
Created for BlackOperatives Mod, the miniguns is huge, replacing mp5. I use reference image from the real world miniguns that Energizer gave me (He took form SecurityArms.com) but it's very small and I can see a clear detail of its body. It (600 tris) has lower poly count than MP5a3 (846 tris) 'cause there is only one hand.
The way I skin this model (not hands) is really cheat. I command 3D MAX to render the model which is Ray-Trace material assigned on the Perspective viewport. Then I use it to wrap around the miniguns! This method takes adventage from one-angle viewing. But it looks ok.
This is an alpha version of miniguns so there is many things to correct.
- No w_model and p_model.
MESH:
INSTALLATION:
- Extract v_9mmar.mdl to your \valve\models\ folder.
Now the 9mmAR will replaced with Miniguns.
- Extract hks1.wav, hks2.wav, hks3.wav to your \valve\sound\weapons\
You may need to create the folder yourself.
- Extract clipinsert1.wav, cliprelease1.wav to your \valve\sound\items\
You may need to create the folder yourself.
UNINSTALLAION:
- Delete the files.
