Hi there!

This Mod replaces the RadioGear at several german Spawnpoints (e.g. Kalt, Donner, etc.) with either a fancy VE301 Radio Reciever or a WS Radio Gear used by the Wehrmacht in WWII

Also you will get a fully functional German Radio Broadcast at no extra charge!

Choose from: VE301 Radio Reciever "Volksempfänger" The Volksempfänger (German for "people's receiver") was a range of radio receivers developed at the request of Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels. (choose "Radio")

30 Watt Funkgerät This is a similar Radiogear as in the vanilla Game, but in higher Definition. It was widely used in the Wehrmacht (choose "Alternative Skin")

Description of the Radio Broadcast:

I used to hate the Radio transmission "lothar, hier Walküre..." so I created a Broadcast Programm with authentic Material by sampling recorded Radio sessions from the 30ies and the 40ies of the 20Century, to replace it. (Song List is included in the Readme!) Content:

Music (70%), vary from: german Marching music, german swing music, german light music

Radio News Broadcasting (30%): Air Raid news, War-relating news, And some nice commercials.

The Broadcast is like 12 minutes long with 70% percent music, 10% commercials and 20% News

Of course the programm is in german language ;)

I used some "newer" sound material to compensate some issues and to create a suitable atmosphere. But this does not inflict too much with the historical correctnes of the file ; )
