Most other people working on this knife were going for the non-diffuse-dynamically-lit method, but frankly that just doesn't work well in source. In fact, the baked normal map didn't really appear so well in source, so i just skinned it for fun, going for less of a brass and more of a dirty, used rusty look. not realistic, but its how i did it anyway.
