For those who think it doesn't fit this slot. Consider this: The .357SIG cartridge the P226 uses is basically an 9mm +P round mated to a necked-down .40S&W casing. The CS P226 has a 13-round mag. The USP40 fires the .40S&W round and also has a 13-round mag. That's why I thought the USP40 would be the perfect replacement.
