INSURGENCY MOD FOR CS 1.6

Ever wanted to turn your CS 1.6 to something intense? Well here you go!

This isn't really like a mod, it still maintains the original CS1.6 gameplay. It's more of a full pack. 5 months of editing my counter strike and finding the best replacements I can find on the net. I also did simple reskins of these myself e.g changing hands, replacing LACA player models' textures.

This is NOT a plugin or addon and DOES NOT require AMX and such.

What's inside:

• HQ realistic player, weapon, radio, win sounds, hit sounds, footsteps etc with no sound errors or bugs or "sszttscch" sounds. Sounds used are accurately close to Realistic shooter games like Insurgency and Project Reality (although difference in distant fire sounds is not available on the Gold Source engine, this mod will bring a very close and intense experience to it)

• Replaced every single model possible (player, weapon pee vee wees, map models/props)

• Insurgency GUI with Desert Combat 0.7 loading screen soundtrack, for nostalgia's sake!

• New HQ hud, Insurgency themed "Select Team" menu with new gfx, as well as real weapon names and vgui.

• Added maps from my current Counter Strike as well as Middle Eastern Themed maps. Maps contribute largely to file size.

• Uses the most realistic sprites possible (blood, scopes, explosions, muzzleflash, map sprites etc)

How is it Insurgency themed:

• CT replaced with U.S security forces - Marines, Navy Seals, Recon and Support

• T replaced with Insurgent Cell - Militant, Sniper, Sapper and Rifleman

• Certain weapon skins replaced with those in real life and in the Insurgency series: AKS-74U for galil, Druganov for G3SG1, SR-25 for SG552 with realistic firing sounds, big thanks to -=anders=- and M-Productions

Make sure you increase decal limits and use 3D sound settings for best experience.

I'm sure there are no consistency errors as I play on servers without problems or decrease in fps. Be immersed in realistic combat with your CS 1.6!

I know the file size is big, but it WILL worth it, trust me. New HQ sounds, new maps, HQ models, Weapons, Sprites and such all contribute to this.

This mod will be given constant updates to give the most bad ass CS you'll ever have, so stay tuned

~Installation~

-Simply extract the "cstrike" nad "valve" folder to your Counter-Strike 1.6 folder e.g C:\Program Files\Counter-Strike 1.6
