================================================================ Title : Tundra Date : 3-12-99 Filename : tundra.bsp Author : John Iadarola (Chalis) Email Address : supadupa_si@yahoo.com Other Level: : This is my first map. Description : This is, for the most part, a conversion of the Unreal DM level of the same name. Obviously it is not as good though, seeing as how this is the first map I've ever finished. The setting is a snowy monastery type place with a tower and small building. In the forefront is a courtyard, and in the mountains surrounding the area there is a cave. Most weapons are available except the hornetgun (cause I hate it), the egon (wouldn't fit in), and tripmines (not needed). Thanks: 1. HellBringer of www.planethalflife.com/wavelength for his help in solving some obscure bugs. 2. Central Magnet High School, who's LAN allowed me to actually test this map somewhat. 3. Radium, http://www.planethalflife.com/radium/, for bringing user-made levels to the forefront of the Half-Life community ================================================================ * Play Information * Single Player : No Deathmatch : Yes Teamplay : I suppose Difficulty Settings : No Recommended Players : Anywhere from 2-5, I suppose. We used three during testing. ================================================================ File goes into the maps dir under Half-life\valve ================================================================ * Construction * Base : New Editor(s) used : Worldcraft 2.0. Known Bugs : In OpenGL there is a bit of flickering (could just be my comp) on a few textures. There were some odd lighting effects I couldn't identify. Some items were misplaced during compiling. Build Time : About two weeks total. Compile machine : P200 64 ram 3.2GB HD QCS Time : ? QBSP Time : approx. 17 sec. QVIS Time : approx. 30 min. QRAD Time : approx. 30 min. * Permissions * Don't take credit for it that is about all. If you actually wanted to use this in another level that's fine as long as you e-mail me.
