Matt from the Balance of Power mod made a small Quake 3 mod using the newly released Quake 3 source code.
These are the binaries for the Hook tutorial I posted earlier.
I still am very ignorant about how Quake 3 mods work but I believe all clients will need the ui.qvm file (this is just a guess).
