image. Now, do exactly as I say: Click the Image rolldown. Click the Adjustment rollout. Now click Auto Contrast. Congratulations. You have just repeated the exact steps that author \"Devmapall\" used to create this skin. How do I know? Because I opened up the .pk3, looked at the head texture, pulled the Shadowtrooper head out of the assets0.pk3 file, and repeated the exact process that I just outlined above. The result? You guessed it: Devmapall\'s \"Silvertrooper.\" When folks submit skins to be uploaded and hosted at JK2Files.com, one expects the skin to have a certain amount of effort that went into its creation. One might think that authors that go through the trouble of submitting their skins for review would want to submit something they could take pride in. I\'m not saying that first attempts can\'t be simple things; everyone needs a place to start learning. But to submit a grouping of textures whose creation was limited to approximately 16 seconds of work apiece? A while back, skin artist Lee Wright released a skin named [file=6029]Chrome Shadowtrooper[/file]. It wasn\'t exactly flashy, but it was definitely well done, and the chrome effect was pulled off wonderfully. If you\'re looking for a solid silver Shadowtrooper skin, go download that. That\'s a pretty cool skin. This one? It\'s just plain sad. The bottom line? I pity you if you waste your energy moving the mouse pointer within five inches of the \"Download Now\" buttons. And yes, this was a nasty review. If you didn\'t notice that this was a nasty review, then read it again. See? Nasty! Bot Support: NO New Sounds: NO Team Colors: NO - Dan \"ViperEye\" Tennant
I want everyone to do me a little favor. If you have Adobe Photoshop, open it up. Pick an image, any image, that you feel like fiddling with for the purposes of this exercise. Open the
