What it does is let you move around your model in 3d, closer, farther, or from the front, the back, you name it... this is done by binding keys to certain things so you don't have to worry about what code to type, just one button :) They are by default bound to your keypad number (those 1-9 numbers on the right side of your keyboard) so if you want to change them then look in the .cfg file and make the changes. Secondly, you might need to start the map with cheats on as it may not let you use the codes.
