Matrix Games has released a patch for Hannibal Rome and Carthage in the Second Punic War. The 1.0.1 tweaks autosaves to take place on every turn and fixes the issues reported since release, including a few rare crashes.
This update most notably includes a half dozen AI improvements to give Rome an extra edge in some important areas like avoiding mountain attrition and sending relief efforts to a besieged Rome.
The free playable demo gives prospective commanders of Hannibals mighty army the ability to play through all the tutorials and the first four turns of the campaign.
