Polus Mountains

displays some excellent uses of mapping skills. The author made the effort to make the terrain dynamic and interesting. There are nicely formed hills and mountains. However it would be nice if the walkable terrain was made a bit more dynamic. Some more varied use of snow textures would also be nice. The author made an excellent use of trees and environment settings to create an excellent snow environment. The only part of this map that looks a bit awkward is the one town area. The tan gravel texture and maple trees tend to stick out from the rest of the snowy map. This is a great map for Empire vs. Rebel skirmish games and should be considered for download.
