Blizzard found out that there was still certain problems with the Play CD when some players attempted to start up Diablo II-- specifically relating to their CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drives. This is fixed in the version 1.04C patch.
Fixed problems with accessing the Play CD at startup on some CD and DVD drives. Fixed a crash problem with the Video Tester in Windows NT and Windows 2000.
