CoH, even OF, were very good in and of themselves, but they were lacking in certain departments, most notably some aspects of realism. This mod has endeavoured to fix some of those issues, and has succeeded, as well as making the game more interesting to play. The factions are, indeed, balanced, despite large numbers of changes.
