When your shields fail and the ship starts taking hull damage, you'll hear one of 5 differetn damage sound FX when hit, such as alarms and console explosions.
This overwrites the stock or mod explosion sfx files, it is a good idea to back them up, just incase :) The sound effects are impressive while in game, they definatly add something to the game -
