The class would be upgraded in later era's as well, though the actual act of refitting the Sparrow class to DN would cease after a short time, and only a handful survived the dominion war. This ship is fairly well armed for such a role. This ship is armed with Nine Disruptors arranged around the ship for full coverage, as well as a heavy disruptor, four forward pulse cannons, two aft pulse cannons as well as forward and aft torpedo launchers. This ship is fairly powerful for its era, although will struggle against something from the TNG era and beyond.
