JJ verse Romulan BOP

stardate 2258.40 after the massacre of forty-seven Klingon vessels by the future Romulan Nero. These Romulan ships are classified in this report as "Birds-of-Prey" due to their appearance and the stylized image upon the under side of the ships. At present none have entered federation space and our long range sensors and patrol ships are on alert. As of this stardate 2258.71(12th March 2258) we have little in the way of tactical information. However due to some minor skirmishes between the Romulans and Klingons it appears the Romulans use a type of pulse disrupter similar to the Klingons own weapons systems, and a powerful plasma based torpedo weapon. The Romulan ships seem highly manoeuvrable. Starfleet sensor-analysis experts are investigating some unusual readings found sporadically near a number of federation systems. Whether these have anything to do with the Romulans or the rising hostilities between the Klingons and Romulans is unclear. STARFLEET INTELLIGENCE, STARDATE: 2258.71 Romulan ships have been detected by long-range sensors along the border between Klingon space. The Klingons have been building up their forces since
