separate, this looks fairly well when separated. As far as I can see, there is no impulse engine on the stardrive section when separated yet both parts can move on their own. The mods required to run this one, does turn your Sovereign into a god-ship in the process so backup your hardpoint if you intend to revert to it in the future. P81 Sovereign is used in this mod.
