These ships are mainly designed as carriers and to deliver large scale strikes against planetary targets or capital ships such as the Battlestar Galactica or similar. The Cylon Raider is approximately 30m long and 18 m wide, this ship would be no match for any capital ships, although this is similar in size to that of the Colonial Viper. The Raider like the Viper can also fly in an atmosphere and is usually armed with nuclear weapons, high explosive projectile weapons and armour piercing rounds. Unfortunately these ships do not have any hardpoints and cannot be used within the game.
Here are the Cylon Basestar and Raider from the Newer Battlestar Galactica Series. The basestar is over 5 km in length and holds over 250 raiders. These ships are normally armed with several nuclear
