wormholes to get to each side are hidden in nebula. The nebula are color coded, the pink/purple nebula in no mans land hides the wormholes to get into the bases and the blue nebula in the base area hid the wormholes to get out. There are tons of moons scattered around in no mans land for the taking if you can hold them. There is also some scatted nebula in no mans land to use for strategic purposes.
