A patch has been released updating AvP2 Team Fortress to v1.08. This patch can be used by both versions 1.0 and 1.01 of the mod. The patch adds the needed functionality to have the Fortress mod use the new master server, after moving it on 2009-01-27
The 1.07 patch will allow you to play AvP2 Fortress, using the new master server at lithfaq.com, even after Sierra has shut down the AvP2 master server. Needed by both clients and servers.
